Whenever a vendor delivers the translations for a language on a project, Cloudwords automatically generates a Language Review task, so the person/team managing that project can review the delivered translations.
After the internal review by the customer has been completed, they can either approve the language or request a revision from the vendor.
Language review tasks are automatically assigned, following the criteria below:
- If there are no users assigned to the language delivered, the review task is assigned to the project owner, so they receive notifications about it. This way, the project owner can either review that language or assign the task to someone else to complete the work.
- If there is ONE user assigned to the language delivered, the review task is assigned to that user. No other users are added to the task as followers, and thus the user assigned to complete the review will be in charge of completing it. They could, if necessary, add other users to the task in order to collaborate in the review.
- If there is more than one user assigned to the language delivered, the review task is assigned to the project owner, and these users are added to the task as followers. This way, the project owner can collaborate with all the users who are supposed to work on that language to define who should be reviewing it. The user assigned to a task can always edit it and assign it to another user.
Once the user or users working on reviewing a language have finished the review, they can, from the task page, mark the language as approved or, if changes are needed, request a revision from the vendor.
