Administrators and Project Managers can reassign the ownership of a project to another user. In the case of administrators, they can do it on any project, while project managers can only reassign projects they have created. To reassign the ownership of a project:
- Go to the project you want to reassign ownership to another user.
- On the Overview tab of the project, click the Edit link that appears on the module with the project's description.
- On the edit page, look for the Project Owner section and select the new owner. Only administrators and project managers are displayed.
- Click Save.
On Cloudwords accounts that have implemented different departments, an administrator will also have the option, when editing a project, to move it to another department, and thus to reassign the ownership to a user on that new department. Learn more about Departments on Cloudwords.
