Synchronization Errors - Permissions

If the project is encountering a Synchronization Permission issue then below are some suggestions for further diagnosis:

Marketo Permissions

Ensure your user has a role with the following permissions:

  • Edit Marketing Asset
  • Clone Marketing Asset
  • Design Studio Access

Eloqua Permissions

1. Permissions

Ensure your user's permissions are adequate in Eloqua. Specifically:
- API Users Security Group.
- Advanced Users - Marketing.

2. IP Whitelisting

If IP whitelisting is enabled on your Eloqua instance and does not include Cloudwords’ IP addresses, Cloudwords will encounter a permission error.

To solve this issue, add the following relevant domains to your whitelists. (Note: Cloudwords servers change IP addresses hence we recommend listing domains).

Cloudwords Production:

app.cloudwords.com
api.cloudwords.com

Cloudwords Sandbox:

app-sandbox.cloudwords.com
api-sandbox.cloudwords.com


Hubspot Permissions

Ensure your Hubspot integration user has the Hubspot Marketing permissions shown in the images below.
